Served from fall 1991- June 1992 as Intelligence Investigator assigned (fulltime) to the Senate Select Committee on POW/MIA Affairs from the office of Sen. Robert Smith, (R-NH), Committee Vice-Chairman.

Traveled extensively throughout northern Vietnam from 1993-June 1995 inspecting or attempting to inspect numerous prisons and/or locations where postwar U.S. intelligence indicated American POWs were being detained after Operation Homecoming. Protested publicly in Hanoi in early June 1995 when Vietnamese authorities barred him from inspecting several prisons where large numbers of American POWs had reportedly been held long after Operation Homecoming. Vietnamese officials responded by declaring Hendon persona non grata and ordering him deported.

From September 1981, when he first traveled to Laos, until June 1995, when he was deported from Vietnam, Hendon traveled to South and Southeast Asia and other locations in the Far East some 33 times in an effort to help determine the fate of the approximately 2,500 Americans who remained unaccounted for at war’s end. He is considered one of the free world’s foremost authorities on the postwar Vietnamese and Lao prison systems and the postwar intelligence telling of American servicemen detained in those prisons. He has appeared on CBS’s 60 Minutes, ABC’s 20/20, Dateline NBC, ABC’s Good Morning America, the NBC Today Show, Saturday Today, CNN’s Larry King Live and on a number of network news and talk shows.

Hendon and co-author Elizabeth Stewart, whose father is Missing in Action in North Vietnam, began writing a history of the POW issue, An Enormous Crime, soon after Hendon’s forced return from Vietnam in June 1995. Mr. Chapman became a stockbroker in 1960 and retired in 1988. For 18 of those years he owned his own brokerage firm. He was probably the largest gold and silver stockbroker in the world during that period. When he retired he had over 6,000 clients.

From 1962 through 1976 he specialized in South African gold shares. He and his family lived in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe) and Johannesburg, South Africa from 1970 to 1973. During that time he did a great deal of further study into the South African mining industry.

Mr. Chapman belonged to The Traders Association for 25 years. He did all his own trading. During his South African years some was done directly through Johannesburg, but 95% was done through London brokerage firms. Hence, he has extensive contacts, both in London and on the Continent.

Starting in 1967 Mr. Chapman began writing articles on business, finance, economics and politics having been printed and reprinted over the years in over 200 publications. He owned and wrote the Gary Allen Report, which had 30,000 subscribers. He currently is owner and editor of The International Forecaster, a compendium of information on business, finance, economics and social and political issues worldwide, which reaches 10,000 investors and brokers monthly directly, and parts of his publication are picked up by 60 different websites weekly exposing his ideas to over 10 million investors a week.

In 1976, after the Soweto riots, Mr. Chapman began buying North American shares exclusively for his clients. Up to that point only a handful of American and Canadian issues interested him, due to the high dividends the South African shares had paid out over the years. Between 1976 and 1988 his business surged from 1,000 to 6,000 clients, so the bulk of his business ended up being Vancouver Stock Exchange issues. For this reason he is very conversant with the quality of management, geologists, properties and traders on today’s North American scene. He is well known.

From 1976 to present he has spoke and given workshops at over 200 business conferences worldwide, and has been on radio and TV hundreds of times. She's Wei Jingsheng's right hand lady that has added greatly to the Chinese Freedom Movement. Huang Ciping is the director of  Wei Jingsheng Foundation, a prominent Chinese human rights NGO well known on the world stage.  She also serves as the Secretary General for the Overseas Chinese Democracy Coalition. 

Huang Ciping was the Council Chair and president for IFCSS from 1998 to 1999 (Independent Federation of Chinese Students & Scholars in USA), and was the past president for the Global Chinese Students and Scholars' Union.  Presently, she serves for IFCSS council and is its Human Rights Committee chair.  Her professional career had been in physics.  She was a nuclear scientist and is now a senior optical engineering consultant.

The 9/11 Commission subsequently described Moussaoui as an “Al Qaeda mistake and missed opportunity,” the investigation of whom may have led to the center of the Al Qaeda plot if it had been pursued in a timely and effective manner.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small "inside" group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes.

How many of these war millionaires shouldered a rifle? How many of them dug a trench? How many of them knew what it meant to go hungry in a rat-infested dug-out? How many of them spent sleepless, frightened nights, ducking shells and shrapnel and machine gun bullets? How many of them parried a bayonet thrust of an enemy? How many of them were wounded or killed in battle?

Out of war nations acquire additional territory, if they are victorious. They just take it. This newly acquired territory promptly is exploited by the few – the selfsame few who wrung dollars out of blood in the war. The general public shoulders the bill.

And what is this bill?

This bill renders a horrible accounting. Newly placed gravestones. Mangled bodies. Shattered minds. Broken hearts and homes. Economic instability. Depression and all its attendant miseries. Back-breaking taxation for generations and generations.

Mr. Chapman became a stockbroker in 1960 and retired in 1988. For 18 of those years he owned his own brokerage firm. He was probably the largest gold and silver stockbroker in the world during that period. When he retired he had over 6,000 clients.

From 1962 through 1976 he specialized in South African gold shares. He and his family lived in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe) and Johannesburg, South Africa from 1970 to 1973. During that time he did a great deal of further study into the South African mining industry.

Mr. Chapman belonged to The Traders Association for 25 years. He did all his own trading. During his South African years some was done directly through Johannesburg, but 95% was done through London brokerage firms. Hence, he has extensive contacts, both in London and on the Continent.

Starting in 1967 Mr. Chapman began writing articles on business, finance, economics and politics having been printed and reprinted over the years in over 200 publications. He owned and wrote the Gary Allen Report, which had 30,000 subscribers. He currently is owner and editor of The International Forecaster, a compendium of information on business, finance, economics and social and political issues worldwide, which reaches 10,000 investors and brokers monthly directly, and parts of his publication are picked up by 60 different websites weekly exposing his ideas to over 10 million investors a week.

In 1976, after the Soweto riots, Mr. Chapman began buying North American shares exclusively for his clients. Up to that point only a handful of American and Canadian issues interested him, due to the high dividends the South African shares had paid out over the years. Between 1976 and 1988 his business surged from 1,000 to 6,000 clients, so the bulk of his business ended up being Vancouver Stock Exchange issues. For this reason he is very conversant with the quality of management, geologists, properties and traders on today’s North American scene. He is well known.

From 1976 to present he has spoke and given workshops at over 200 business conferences worldwide, and has been on radio and TV hundreds of times. Until his retirement he was always judged by the attendees to be one of the top three speakers and never once was lower than first in workshops due to his vast knowledge of the mining business and his grasp of worldwide financial markets and political scenes.

On July 2, 1776 the Congress met to discuss Jefferson's Manifesto of Freedom and on the evening of July 4, 1776 finally approved the somewhat modified Manifesto of Freedom, making over sixty changes but not one of Jefferson's "ancient principles" was deleted. These ancient principles Jefferson came to admire are as follows.

1. Sound government should be based on self-evident truths. These truths should be so obvious, so rational, and so morally sound that their authenticity is beyond reasonable dispute.

2. The equal station of mankind here on earth is a cosmic reality, an obvious and inherent aspect of the law of nature and of nature's God.

3. This presupposes (as a self-evident truth) that the Creator made human beings equal in their rights, equal in his sight. (Of course, individual attributes and personal circumstances in life vary widely.)

4. These rights, which have been bestowed by the Creator on each individual, are unalienable; that is, they cannot be taken away or violated without the offender coming under the judgment and wrath of the Creator. A person may have other rights, such as those that have been created as a "vested" right by statute, but vested rights are not unalienable. They can be altered or eliminated at any time.

5. Among the most important of the unalienable rights are the right to life, the right to liberty, and the right to pursue whatever course of life a person may desire in search of happiness, so long as it does not invade the inherent rights of others.

6. The most basic reason for a community or a nation to set up a system of government is to assure its inhabitants that the rights of the people shall be protected and preserved.

7. And because this is so, it follows that no office or agency of government has any right to exist except with the consent of the people or their representatives.

8. It also follows that if a government either by malfeasance or neglect, fails to protect those rights - or, even worse, if the government itself begins to violate those rights - then it is the right and duty of the people to regain control of their affairs and set up a form of government that will serve the people better.

This document would later be called the "Declaration of Independence" by the people. The first two paragraphs of the Declaration incorporated eight previously enumerated "ancient principles" that millenniums earlier the Israelites had at one time practiced achieving one of the earliest and most efficient forms of representative government. flourishing as long as those principles were followed. This form of government would later be emulated by the Anglo-Saxon culture. Now those first two paragraphs.

 When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. America's enemies are using many ideas to teardown our Republic. Our government as first founded and envisioned by the founding fathers is not the type of government that Plato "the communist" espoused. The world will be a better place by adopting our form of government and not the European models which are sleight of hand socialist systems where the citizen slave is heavily taxed and controlled by government regulations devoid of any bill of rights.

Today America's freedoms are under attack by both foreign and domestic enemies. We must hunker down and fight for freedom.

I was born in Philadelphia, 1951 -- I guess I'm a Baby Boomer -- the grandson of a meat packer. My grandparents came from Russia. They thought they were fleeing the Bolsheviks; unfortunately, they were fleeing the czar.

They came to this country, and they believed in hard work. They taught our family a certain ethic, which I think we all share and have experienced. They taught me to work with all types of people. They taught me that, although we may have different beliefs and different ideas, we all are trying to arrive at the same place. Some of us drive Chevrolets, others drive Fords, but we're going in the same direction.

I attended university at Duke during the Vietnam War years. During that period perhaps I hadn't quite realized how conservative I was. I knew that I didn't support the anti-war movement, and I was troubled by that movement. And of course, this was during the period of Richard Nixon.

One of the things that I remember from those days is that Nixon said we all are basically intelligent people. Some people are obviously more intelligent than others. But what separates those who succeed from those who don't is really hard work. I have friends who knew him very well; I did not. But that quality was something I admired deeply.

After law school, I spent a year working for Senator Richard Schweiker of Pennsylvania. These were the Watergate years, when we talked about ethics. We talked also about the law. Troubled Republicans came forward and helped get things right. We do not have a situation like that today. The Democratic Party and the liberal movement will not utter a word about some of the gross abuses occurring in government and in our society today, for fear that they may lose hold of power.

Conservatives and Republicans have never been that way. We have always confronted the issues when we've had to. We put our own house in order, and we moved on.

After graduating from Duke University and spending a year with Senator Schweiker, I attended Emory University School of Law in Atlanta. I began my practice in Miami, Florida in 1977. It was a large, conservative law firm. I chose that over working in Washington, D.C. because I wanted to develop the tools to be a trial lawyer. I know that's not a popular thing to claim to be, but, as you'll see later, I'm trying to put that experience to good use with our organization.

The law firm was a big, established organization. I got my first taste of the court system, which I'll talk about later.

Then I moved to the Department of Justice where, shortly before Ed Meese became Attorney General, I served in the antitrust division. I developed an appreciation for competition, for allowing everyone to be able to prosper based on their own merit and desire to get ahead, not based on who they were, or their concentration of economic power.

That was an interesting experience, since I'd been in the private sector. I remember one of my chiefs in that government office coming to me and saying, "Larry, why are you working late? Go home." And that perhaps I should not be so tough on the secretaries and on the support staff to get the job done. It was almost as if it was a negative thing, this hard-work ethic.

This taught me that government is not what we perhaps thought it was. Certainly the Justice Department was a revered and admired institution which, for the most part, kept its head above politics and its nose to the grindstone.

I left the Justice Department in 1981 and went with a small law firm, which gave me a further experience, what it was like to run a small business. First hand, I saw how the private sector suffers from government regulation, taxes, and a general attitude that business is always wrong and that others are always right.

I left that firm in 1983 and started my own law firm, Klayman and Associates. Perhaps I suffered a little bit from an immigrant complex. I wanted to see if I could do what my grandfather had done as he built up his meat packing company. I left without clients.

And I've stayed in that private practice for thirteen years, up to the present time. Along the way, I learned that the basic values, honesty, respect for ethics and the law, are very important. But I also learned that you have to take society as you find it. Society is not perfect. Society does not always live up to those values. We ourselves may not live up to those values, no matter how hard we try. Nobody is perfect.

I saw the evolution of Ronald Reagan. I listened to people like Jack Kemp, William Bennett and others. And I learned that the conservative movement truly was the movement that tried to protect the interests of us all, not just big corporate interests. We, in fact, are the movement of the people. We are populists. We get our strength from that foundation.

And I learned that in the justice system, where I represented small American importers in an international-type practice. I also represented some overseas interests in the United States, from anywhere that clients would come. They had a desire to excel on their own, to have their business prosper without excessive government regulation and waste.

Like many lawyers who start to get a little older -- I'm 45 now -- I came to believe that I could take the skills I had learned as a trial lawyer on behalf of clients and try to change society in some small way. We all do our small parts to make our little marks on the world. Back in the 1960s and 1970s, some of my friends of the more liberal persuasion in high school were talking about dodging the draft, taking marijuana, and other things which I never quite accepted. This was the age when people went to law school to try to change things. In those years, things kind of got reversed 180 degrees. The liberal establishment became the vested interest, and the conservative establishment became the movement of change.

Those who went to law school to try to disrupt are now probably in big business. Campus radicals in many cases later converted into capitalists. And we conservatives strove, not just to prosper from the capitalist system, but to change things.

And then it came to pass that in 1992 we elected one William Jefferson Clinton. Certainly, we would all like to respect our President and First Lady. Certainly, we would like things not to have gone the way they went. But what we've seen is one scandal after another, obfuscations of fact, false information being provided to the public on a daily basis.

In the last few weeks alone, the White House press secretary, Mike McCurry, and the White House counsel, Lanny Davis, have been criticized even by the liberal media -- even by the Washington Post -- for disseminating false information to the public and misleading congressional investigators and groups such as my own.

In 1993, I felt that I could take what I had learned and create a useful, activist organization. Being the capitalist, the businessman that I was, I looked for a market niche.

I didn't do this for profit. We founded Judicial Watch as a volunteer group. I don't take a salary. Our thirty or so volunteers do not draw salary. We do it because we believe in it. We do it for the same reason that Judge Robert Bork has written his book, Slouching Towards Gomorrah.

Growing up on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and in Duluth, Minnesota, he graduated from high school in Coral Gables, Florida, in 1959. He received an undergraduate degree in economics in 1964 from the University of California at Berkeley, where he was active in SLATE, the campus political party, and served a term on the board of the Associated Students.

After graduation, he worked for the Community Action Program of the Office of Economic Opportunity in Washington, DC, assisting in the launch of Project Head Start in the summer of 1965, and in funding college student volunteer programs.

In 1966 he moved to eastern Kentucky to work as field coordinator and later executive director with the Appalachian Volunteers, a community organizing project in the central Appalachian coalfields.

He received M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in sociology from the University of Kentucky, where he taught in the school of social work and helped establish and administer the Appalachian Center from 1974 through 1981.

In 1982 he moved to Sonoma State University, where he served as Director of Sponsored Programs, General Manager of the SSU Academic Foundation, and as dean of the School of Extended Education from 1984 to 2000. He taught courses on social movements for the departments of Sociology, Women's & Gender Studies, History, Environmental Studies and Planning, and American Multicultural Studies.

He is co-editor of Appalachia in the Sixties: Decade of Reawakening (Univ. Press of Kentucky, 1972), and author of The Activist's Almanac: The Concerned Citizen's Guide to the Leading Advocacy Organizations in America (Simon & Schuster/Fireside, 1993).

He presently teaches short courses on social movements for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes at Sonoma State University and other northern California campuses.

Recent legislation attempting to legitimize the use of internment camps to detain U.S. citizens in the event of an uprising or civil unrest has many people asking what nation they live in.

I'm Niki Friedrich Raapana, a fifty-one year old first-generation Alaskan grandmother, co-founder of the online research project known as the Anti-Communitarian League, author of 2020, designer/builder of GerTees, and the co-owner of a small webwriter business in rural Alaska called Alaskan Webwriters. My writing background - From 1982 to 1985 I was university trained in traditional investigative journalism; my studies were directed towards writing for mainstream news publications. After an intensive independent study where I wrote and produced a video documentary detailing economic policy in Central America (before anything came out about the Ollie North/Contra/Iran-Drugs-for-Arms scandal) I realized how much of what I found was a lie. Uncomfortable with the reality of my future prospects, I left school, had a baby, and never applied for work in my field. I worked in the restaurant/bar business for most of my adult life.  Until I began researching the changing property laws and the National ID database pilot tests in Seattle, Wa in 1999, the only thing I'd published since college was a waiter's training book and program.

While I'm still learning programming and coding (from my baby, who is now a mother herself) and how to organize research topics and content, I have no trouble finding whatever information I'm seeking online. If anything, there's too much available, and deciding where to read seems to be just as important as it ever was. When I first realized I could access federal and state government documents, libraries around the world and even private archives, I was just beyond estatic. Maybe I obtained some of the early facts about Community Policing a little faster than my American brain could absorb them, but I still think the internet is an amazing improvement on the "old way." None of us are limited to going to the local library, wading through congressional records, reading Facts on File, and nobody is scrolling through miles of microfische anymore, are they? (I chose my last college, UMASS, Amherst, because of the size of its library.)

In December, 2002 my daughter, Nordica Friedrich, and I co-wrote a tutorial for our War on Words game called What is the Hegelian Dialectic?  In 2003 we completed our original political thesis with The Historical Evolution of Communitarian Thinking. Both parts are available for free online at the ACL, and while it could stand an updated revision, the conclusion has never been disputed, not even after 300,000 visitors.

Until 2002 I was still writing everything in hardcopy. I've been writing for the web since 2003, primarily at the ACL, as an opponent of the reinvented regional government of the United States. I was a featured guest expert on Communitarian Law in William Lewis's documentary, One Nation Under Siege. For the past year I've been a contributor at newswithviews.com.

Current Involvements
Recently I've shifted my focus to being a proponent of what I understand to be the National System of Political Economy. I believe the strength of the American Union of Free and Independent States was in the way our founders acted out the new American principles for individual freedom. It was fascinating to learn they were never influenced by Marx or Hegel. I wondered at their reasons for staying out of foreign banking and entanglements, and I still don't know why they decided to establish a national bank or what motivated them to coin their own money. I only know it's what they implemented and it was a huge success. As an average Jane, I figure all I need to "get" is that our brilliant founders thought it was essential to build up the infrastructure necessary to get small producer's goods to market, and they agreed on why it was necessary to establish federal tariffs. Free trade was always an imperialist policy for controlling world markets. The naive American in me simply likes the fact that the established government's original "job" was to protect our local, cottage industry and agriculture against cheap foreign (Imperial-UK) imports. 
 

While I'm still actively studying and writing a new series about Hegel and Etzioni, my goal expanded from exposing the communitarians to physically acting upon the knowledge I've gained after years of studying their documents. This is a great improvement on my general lifestyle and outlook, and a wonderful opportunity to see if the original American economic "theory" works. It's been very interesting doing this kind of "marketing" research. What a challenge it is to build an online shopping mall and to think of innovative ways that may provide an infrastructure for cottage industrialists and agriculturalists to get their goods online.
 

My vision for the future
According to Marx and Engels, American merchants were of a low-born, unevolved species. Today the American merchant is about to be hit with a major economic crisis and the "solution" will be to form a union and a new currency with Canada and Mexico in order to compete with the EU's Euro. Things will likely get very bad for many of our citizens, but like Denver born "Yankee Ape" Molly Brown's rallying cry on a sinking Titanic: "We ain't down yet!" We're not the NAU, the USA still exists, and not only in the minds of the national die-hards. Our state and federal constitutions have not been repealed, amended or ordered out of existence. I am willing to bet we can still find the ways and the means to protect our local economies from UN-federal grant recipients and the coming global monetary crisis.  The American former colonial subjects didn't sit in the dark when they couldn't buy Imperialist's candles... they just started making their own.
 

Yes, we all changed the channels when the communitarians infiltrated us with their Fabian solutions, and we yawned when they claimed their own international version of our local identities. Now it's our civic responsibility to future generations to "re-infiltrate" their groups, take control and defeat their plans with our American pragmatism. Today I'm part of a company devoted to "community web solutions." And when I say "community" I mean real community, not the communitarian vision of my community. As a semi-recovered victim of two centuries of globaliist Hegelian propaganda, I'm ready to help non-UN affiliated business owners take back their local community's marketplace, one town at a time.

Mr. Chapman became a stockbroker in 1960 and retired in 1988. For 18 of those years he owned his own brokerage firm. He was probably the largest gold and silver stockbroker in the world during that period. When he retired he had over 6,000 clients.

From 1962 through 1976 he specialized in South African gold shares. He and his family lived in Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe) and Johannesburg, South Africa from 1970 to 1973. During that time he did a great deal of further study into the South African mining industry.

Mr. Chapman belonged to The Traders Association for 25 years. He did all his own trading. During his South African years some was done directly through Johannesburg, but 95% was done through London brokerage firms. Hence, he has extensive contacts, both in London and on the Continent.

Starting in 1967 Mr. Chapman began writing articles on business, finance, economics and politics having been printed and reprinted over the years in over 200 publications. He owned and wrote the Gary Allen Report, which had 30,000 subscribers. He currently is owner and editor of The International Forecaster, a compendium of information on business, finance, economics and social and political issues worldwide, which reaches 10,000 investors and brokers monthly directly, and parts of his publication are picked up by 60 different websites weekly exposing his ideas to over 10 million investors a week.

In 1976, after the Soweto riots, Mr. Chapman began buying North American shares exclusively for his clients. Up to that point only a handful of American and Canadian issues interested him, due to the high dividends the South African shares had paid out over the years. OUR FARM

Our small family farm is located off the Bluebonnet Trail in Washington County "the birth place of Texas".  These rolling hills provide the setting that the earliest pioneers admired: sufficient rainfall, diverse soils, hardwood forests, abundant wildlife, and a scenic landscape.

We grow over 100 varieties of vegetables and herbs for our committed CSA farm members.  We use ONLY natural techniques (NO synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides or herbicides).  We care about our environment and the quality of our food, because our family lives here, and we eat everything we grow.

We work full time as a family on our 22 acre farm with a 110 acre lease.  We hope that our work is an encouragement to others as we share the harvest with our community and promote small family farms everywhere.

OUR STORY

We have been professional organic horticulturists since 1991.  Prior to starting our farm, we owned and operated the first 100% organic retail nursery in Collin County Texas,  with a focus on herbs, native plants, perennials and antique roses.  Brad provided installation, consultation and custom landscape design for homes and businesses throughout Collin County, developing many of the oldest historical and "green" homes in the county which are featured in numerous public tours and events.

In pursuit of the farm dream, We sold our business and Brad worked as Operations Director for World Hunger Relief in Elm Mott, Texas.  Programs included the management of a grass-fed grade A goat dairy, CSA program, pastured lamb and poultry, bee keeping, organic orchards, vermicomposting, and rabbit production.  Brad managed the farm solely with volunteers and as a training model for a 12 month internship program designed to equip others in sustainable agriculture development and hunger relief programs in the third world.

Brad later served as President of the Texas Organic Farmers & Gardeners Assoc. working to promote the organic, local and sustainable food movement in Texas, while organizing TCOOPS, the largest organic/sustainable agriculture conference in Texas, developing Small Farm Workshops, community leaders and marketing networks for local farmers.

While farming full-time, our family continues to equip others with monthly tours during our Market Days and technical workshops hosted on our farm for those interested in sustainable and organic farming.  We are also available to speak to groups interested in promoting the local food economy, community development, health and organic growing.

FIRST HOUR - George and Charlotte welcome John Breeding, Ph.D., is a psychologist with a well-established private counseling practice in Austin, Texas. A significant part of his work involves counseling with parents and children. He lectures and leads workshops for parents and educators on handling the challenge of a child who is labeled a "problem." He is director of Wildest Colts Resources, a non-profit organization whose purpose is to assist adults in becoming more effective in their work with young people, offering non-drug alternatives to helping young people who are having a hard time. Stephen Kinzer.

Stephen Kinzer is an award-winning foreign correspondent who has covered more than 50 countries on five continents. His articles and books have led the Washington Post to place him "among the best in popular foreign policy storytelling."

Kinzer's most recent book is A Thousand Hills: Rwanda's Rebirth and the Man Who Dreamed It. Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa called it "a fascinating account of a near-miracle unfolding before our very eyes".

In 2006 Kinzer published Overthrow: America's Century of Regime Change from Hawaii to Iraq.  It recounts the 14 times the United States has overthrown foreign governments.  Kinzer seeks to explain why these interventions were carried out and what their long-term effects have been. He is also the author of All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror.  It tells how the CIA overthrew Iran's nationalist government in 1953.

Kinzer spent more than 20 years working for the New York Times, most of it as a foreign correspondent. His foreign postings placed him at the center of historic events and, at times, in the line of fire. While covering world events, he has been shot at, jailed, beaten by police, tear-gassed and bombed from the air.

From 1983 to 1989, Kinzer was the Times bureau chief in Nicaragua.
In that post he covered war and upheaval in Central America.  He also wrote two books about the region. One of them, co-authored with Stephen Schlesinger, is Bitter Fruit: The Untold Story of the American Coup in Guatemala.  The other one, Blood of Brothers: Life and War in Nicaragua, is a social and political portrait that The New Yorker called "impressive for the refinement of its writing and also the breadth of its subject matter." Columbia University awarded Kinzer its Maria Moors Cabot prize for outstanding coverage of Latin America.

From 1990 to 1996 Kinzer was posted in Germany.  He was chief of the New York Times bureau in Bonn, and after German unification became chief of the Berlin bureau. From there he covered the emergence of post-Communist Europe, including wars in the former Yugoslavia.

In 1996 Kinzer was named chief of the newly opened New York Times bureau in Istanbul, Turkey.  He spent four years there, traveling widely in Turkey and in the new nations of Central Asia and the Caucasus.  After completing this assignment, Kinzer published Crescent and Star: Turkey Between Two Worlds.  

Before joining the New York Times, Kinzer was a Latin America correspondent for the Boston Globe. He was also a newspaper columnist and a state government official in Massachusetts.

Kinzer studied history at Boston University and graduated with
high honors. He now teaches journalism and political science at Northwestern University, contributes articles to the New York Review
of Books and other periodicals, and writes a world affairs column for The Guardian.

DALLAS, March 4, 2009 - Noted psychiatrist and author Colin A. Ross, M.D., today announced his patent application for a system to detect the electromagnetic energy emitted by the human eye. Dr. Ross has been researching a new science and medicine focused on the human body's electromagnetic field, which will be detailed in an upcoming book, Human Energy Fields.

Dr. Nick Begich

Dr. Nick Begich is the eldest son of the late United States Congressman from Alaska, Nick Begich Sr., and political activist Pegge Begich. He is well known in Alaska for his own political activities. He was twice elected President of both the Alaska Federation of Teachers and the Anchorage Council of Education. He has been pursuing independent research in the sciences and politics for most of his adult life. When the soldiers of the future want to  communicate, they'll  read each other's minds. At least, that's the hope of researchers at the  Pentagon's mad-science  division Darpa. The agency's budget for the next fiscal  year includes  $4 million to start up a program called Silent Talk. The  goal is to  "allow user-to-user communication on the battlefield  without the use  of vocalized speech through analysis of neural  signals." That's on  top of the $4 million the Army handed out last year to the  University  of California to investigate the potential for  computer-mediated  telepathy. Before being vocalized, speech exists as word-specific  neural signals  in the mind. Darpa wants to develop technology that would  detect these  signals of  "pre-speech," analyze them, and  then transmit the  statement to an intended interlocutor. Darpa plans to use  EEG to read  the brain waves. It's a technique they're also  testing in a project to  devise mind-reading binoculars that alert soldiers to  threats faster  the conscious mind can process them. The project has three major goals, according to Darpa.  First, try to  map a person's EEG patterns to his or her individual  words. Then, see  if those patterns are generalizable - if everyone has  similar  patterns. Last, "construct a fieldable pre-prototype  that would  decode the signal and transmit over a limited range."     The military has been funding a handful of mind-tapping  technology  recently, and already have monkeys capable of telepathic  limb control.  Telepathy may also have advantages beyond covert  battlefield chatter.  Last year, the National Research Council and the Defense  Intelligence  Agency released a report suggesting that neuroscience might  also be  useful to "make the enemy obey our commands." The  first step,  though, may be getting a grunt to obey his officer's  remotely-transmitted thoughts.     Dr. Nick  Begich is  well known for his work and research on "Mind  Effects" -  more of a sinister kind rather than life enhancing. A brief biog.

I was born in Gravesend, Kent in 1962 and brought up in Bromley, South London. I ended my formal education at Ilkley College in West Yorkshire with a Humanities degree, specialising in English Literature, from Bradford University. After working for a few years in the family aviation business I decided to have a go at radio journalism.
Volunteering at the GLC funded Radio Thamesmead (now Time FM 106.8) in South East London I eventually became their full-time volunteer editor of community programmes. RTM applied for, and got, an FM licence from the Radio Authority but as part of the financial deal manager Bob Smith took many of the best presenters off the air. I therefore left in 1991 for a researchers job at Greater London Radio, the BBC's station for London.
In 1992 I moved to BBC Radio Solent as a reporter and then on to BBC Wiltshire Sound, where I worked as Salisbury reporter, relief presenter and documentary maker. When Wiltshire Sound had a 'cash crisis' the BBC decided they no longer required my services. I moved to the Lake District where I took a year out then moved to Oxford where I got involved with environmental campaigning, volunteering at The Land Is Ours helping to organise land occupations in the mid to late 1990's.
After moving to Bristol and getting into investigative journalism I helped establish i-Contact video network and Ecovillage network UK. I spent a year on the National Executive of the union and am now Vice-Chair of the Bristol branch of the National Union of Journalists. I joined the Religious Society of Friends, or Quakers, in June 2005 and I delivered my first lecture on the Illuminati in October 2006.

November 5, 1952, Dehra Dun, Uttarakhand, India), is a physicist, environmental activist, eco feminist and author of several books ^[1]. Shiva, currently based in Delhi, is author of over 300 papers in leading scientific and technical journals.

Shiva participated in the nonviolent Chipko movement during the 1970s. The movement, whose main participants were women, adopted the tactic of hugging trees to prevent their felling. She is one of the leaders of the International Forum on Globalization, (along with Jerry Mander, Edward Goldsmith, Ralph Nader, Jeremy Rifkin, et al.), and a figure of the global solidarity movement known as the alter-globalization movement. She has argued for the wisdom of many traditional practices, as is evident from her interview in the book Vedic Ecology (by Ranchor Prime) that draws upon India's Vedic heritage.

Shiva was born in the valley of Dehradun, to a father who was the conservator of forests and a farmer mother with a love for nature. She was educated at St Mary's School in Nainital, and at the Convent of Jesus and Mary, Dehradun.^[2] Shiva was trained as a gymnast and received her Ph.D. in physics at the University of Western Ontario in 1978. Her thesis was titled "Hidden Variables and Non-locality in Quantum Theory"^[3] She later went on to interdisciplinary research in science, technology and environmental policy, at the Indian Institute of Science and the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore.

FEB. 14, 2009 - We welcome - Richard C. Cook is a former federal government analyst who was one of the key figures in the investigation of the space shuttle Challenger disaster. In 1985, he went to work for NASA as the lead resource analyst for the space shuttle solid rocket boosters, external tank, and Centaur upper stage. Cook’s first assignment led to his writing a memo on engineers’ concerns that flaws with the solid rocket booster O-ring seals could cause the shuttle to blow up. In 1986, after the Challenger disaster, he disrupted a NASA cover-up when he provided his memo, along with other documents on the hazards of the O-rings, to the New York Times. His disclosures paved the way for revelations by engineers from Morton Thiokol, Inc., about how they opposed the launch of Challenger the night before lift-off.

Called to testify before the Presidential Commission at an internationally televised public hearing, Cook stood his ground when his experience and competence were challenged. He continued to contribute to the investigation during interviews with Commission staff and the NASA Office of Inspector General and in meetings with Senator Ernest Hollings, who was trying to raise issues before the Senate on whether there had been White House pressure to launch Challenger./p>

Jan. 24, 2009 - George and Charlotte welcome Niki Raapana - a fifty-one year old first-generation Alaskan grandmother, co-founder of the online research project known as the Anti-Communitarian League, author of 2020, designer/builder of GerTees, and the co-owner of a small webwriter business in rural Alaska called Alaskan Webwriters.

Writing background
From 1982 to 1985 I was university trained in traditional investigative journalism; my studies were directed towards writing for mainstream news publications. After an intensive independent study where I wrote and produced a video documentary detailing economic policy in Central America (before anything came out about the Ollie North/Contra/Iran-Drugs-for-Arms scandal) I realized how much of what I found was a lie. Uncomfortable with the reality of my future prospects, I left school, had a baby, and never applied for work in my field. I worked in the restaurant/bar business for most of my adult life.  Until I began researching the changing property laws and the National ID database pilot tests in Seattle, Wa in 1999, the only thing I'd published since college was a waiter's training book and program.

Current Involvements
Recently I've shifted my focus to being a proponent of what I understand to be the National System of Political Economy. I believe the strength of the American Union of Free and Independent States was in the way our founders acted out the new American principles for individual freedom. It was fascinating to learn they were never influenced by Marx or Hegel. I wondered at their reasons for staying out of foreign banking and entanglements, and I still don't know why they decided to establish a national bank or what motivated them to coin their own money. I only know it's what they implemented and it was a huge success. As an average Jane, I figure all I need to "get" is that our brilliant founders thought it was essential to build up the infrastructure necessary to get small producer's goods to market, and they agreed on why it was necessary to establish federal tariffs. Free trade was always an imperialist policy for controlling world markets. The naive American in me simply likes the fact that the established government's original "job" was to protect our local, cottage industry and agriculture against cheap foreign (Imperial-UK) imports. 

While I'm still actively studying and writing a new series about Hegel and Etzioni, my goal expanded from exposing the communitarians to physically acting upon the knowledge I've gained after years of studying their documents. This is a great improvement on my general lifestyle and outlook, and a wonderful opportunity to see if the original American economic "theory" works. Thomas Valone, PhD: is the President of Integrity Research Institute and Editor of the well respected Future Energy newsletter and Enews. He has authored 6 books and numerous scientific studies, articles and papers related to energy in all forms. He provides consultations on electrical product design/development, engineering testing, environmental/electromagnetic field/energy, expert testimony and opinion. He meets regularly with congressional and senate leaders and briefs them on the latest energy developments. His views regarding energy-related matters have been featured on national media including CNN.

Dr. Valone was a Patent Examiner for the Physics, Measuring, Testing, Instrumentation Class 324, Art Unit 2858, GS-12. He examined and approved patents related to Electric and nonelectric properties, testing in specific environments, calibrating electric meters, sensing electricity, internal combustion engine ignition system, electromechanical switching devices, thermoelectric properties, electrostatic field sensing, fault detection, impedance/admittance testing, power measurement, motors/generators. He was elected as Board member of the PTO Society in 1999.He is the inventor of several instruments, including the PREMIER (Photonic Rejuvenation Energizing Machine & Immunizing Electrification Radiator) machine, Dental Vapor Ionizer, Powerline Gaussmeter, static field gaussmeter, ELF spectrum analyzer, and a geomagnetometer which are still on the market today. Responsible for Engineering Department projects, at Integrity Electronics, he managed engineers and technicians, initiated several instrument lines, trained industrial interns from SUNY at Buffalo, designed 2% accuracy calibration procedures, specification sheets and training manual, represented the company at shows and conferences. A Professor at a SUNY-accredited, Erie Community College in Buffalo NY, he taught courses from 1976 to 1981 that included Engineering Physics, Technical Physics, Introductory Physics, AC Electricity, Electronics, Digital Logic, Microprocessors (6502), Environmental Science, as well as laboratory sessions for above courses. Dr. Valone also designed an Instrumentation & Process Control Curriculum at the direction of the College President. He participated in Project Outreach by teaching SUNY-contract microprocessor courses (6800) at Chevrolet Plant, Tonawanda, NY. While at Scott Aviation, he was Director of R&D and developed gas detection linearization circuit for Series 9000 instruments, directed planning/installation of computerized test facility for catalytic sensors, performed feasibility study of non-pressurized zeolite oxygen tank for firemen, published design articles, managed acquisition and installation of computer network, numerous sensor circuit design and testing projects.Dr Valone is a Consulting Fellow of the World Innovation Foundation, is listed in the Who’s Who of American Writers and Poets, received the Marcel Vogel Service Award from the USPA and several Certificates of Appreciation from the SUNYAB Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences for participation in the Industrial Internship Program. He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, National Space Society, the Union of Concerned Scientists, the Bioelectromagnetics Society and formerly, the American Physical Society.

Dr. Valone holds a PhD in General Engineering from Kennedy-Western University, an M.A. in Physics from SUNY at Buffalo, B.S. Physics and B.S. in Electrical Engineering, from SUNY at Buffalo and is a Licensed Professional Engineer with the state of New York. His resume is also online.

Paul Larudee graduated from the Niles Bryant School of Piano Technology in 1990 and has worked continuously since then as a piano technician in the U.S. and abroad. He is certified as a Registered Piano Technician by the Piano Technicians Guild, which means that he has passed the complete series of Guild examinations. Paul has conducted training classes for the Guild and in overseas programs. He is the inventor of a the Lo-Torq® patented tuning pin, which is used for piano rebuilding. Paul has also produced an English-Spanish glossary of piano technology.
